Finding the beat is what John is all about. Educated with a B.S. in Music
Performance for Percussion, Teaching electronic music, and performing locally
and internationally.
You can find John playing everything from melodic mallet
arrangements and Latin music to jazz kit, rock, and blues. His performing
repertoire includes the Bloomington Symphony, Masters Orchestra, Symphony of
the Lakes, Minneapolis Civic Orchestra, 7th Street Theater Company, Dr. Tone
and the Rhythm Thang, Rhapsody In Praise, Brooklyn Park Evangelical Free Church
Praise Team, as well as other freelance performances and recordings. With
quick fills and attentive playing, John locks groups together with style.
